Yes.
I love the lamb vindaloo and chicken pakora, I come a few times a week!
I wouldn’t recommend mainly because my chicken shahi korma had pieces of major undercooked chicken and the naan I got was undercooked as well. The center was crispy and all near the outside was chewy dough.
Went to Minerva Saturday night. Food was great, cooked to your spice preference. They also have a vegan part of the menu that is extensive. The vegan chickpea stew was excellent. Service was also excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owner/manager comes around ensuring that everything is to your satisfaction. I would encourage anyone who likes Indian food to try Minerva.
Went for the first time this weekend and tried their lunch buffet. Food was great and service was just as good. Was very impressed and will make an effort to eat there more often!
Their jasmine rice is DELICIOUS!! We get it all the time and love it. Also, love their mango lassis. Highly recommend.
Very poor service. Manager is very rude and treated like we eat free and also the waiters doesn’t show any welcoming atmosphere. Compared to other Indian restaurants around the area this is the worst place we’ve been. Buffet doesn’t have any freshness.
The restaurant was a pleasant and warm environment. Great for minors and teenagers. It's an all-you-can-eat place. No more waiting for lines. The lines was short and fast in shorter than 30 seconds to order inside. Public restrooms are for customer use only.
Horrible service and below average food. Will never go again.... Who wants to go to a restaurant and be spoken to rudely? To boot, the food was very forgettable. I used to go to the Minerva in Natick for dinner every Friday (had been doing it for 10 years or so until they closed down the branch). If you think take-out might be an easier experience, think again. I called at 9:10pm to place an order and said I might be reaching there between 9:30pm - 9:35pm(they closed at 9:30pm).... To that I got a "cancel this order then" response. Well it wasn't even a suggestion, I bet he had already cancelled the order.I would any day go to the other Indian restaurant that is less than a mile away from this joint on Boston post road!!!
Great place for Indian food. HUGE menu with tons of options. Vegetarian? Check. Vegan? Check. Everything else? Check, check check.Had the ginger chicken and my wife had the vegan Chana masala. Both dishes were huge. Don't let the size of the bowls the food comes in fool you. They are stuffed! You'll have a tough time finishing it. Bring friends and share! Like beer? Get "Flying Horse", you won't be disappointed.
Awesome food. Ambience is not such great. The kitchen staffs are good and welcoming...
Pleasant and warm environment. I felt a little bit rushed ordering and they are a tad bit slow producing the food that we ordered. We went on a Saturday evening, the place is busy. Overall the food quality was good, the presentation and plating can improve. The price is very reasonable.
12$ for the buffet on the weekdays. Tasty food. Located far from the city.
We love Minerva! Great people work there and the food is delicious. Price is perfect too! We always go for dinner or take out so I can’t comment on the buffet, but the menu is large and service excellent. This was also an excellent spot for a small graduation party or for birthday parties(we had 10 in our group). Even after leaving Norwood, we still hike back every now and again for Minerva.
Awesome califlour. nice people. Other food is great to. I like the onion man.
My go to place for delicious Indian food. Get the chicken biryani!!!
Came here for the first time for the lunch buffet. I really enjoyed the food and all the different options. Some of my favorite dishes were the fried mushrooms, paneer tikka masala, chili chicken, chicken curry, and others that sadly I don't remember the name of. I didn't find their naan to be that amazing, but maybe if you specially order it or order it with takeout rather than just having the one at the buffet that's sitting out, it would be better. They also separate out the vegetarian options too, which is pretty helpful.
Enjoyed the lunch buffet. Many options, chicken, lamb and vegetarian. Everything was delicious, with flavors for every taste, some sweet, savory or spicy. Very good will definitely be back!
Okayish place. Buffet used to be good but now a days not that good
We were greeted right away. A little dark inside. Drink options limited, so we had wine. Food was good overall. The pakora was oddly a mess of bits rather than something to hold, dip and eat. Samosas look pale yet are tasty. For mains, we tried the Chicken 65 Dosa. Fresh tasting with crunch and spicy heat in tender meat. Yogurt to soothe. Our kiddo liked the Paneer Tikka Masala, as did we. Along with Shrimp Majaraha and Poori.Good service. Just a few areas that need work.
This place is the best! The quality of the food is excellent and the service is above and beyond. I’ve been eating at Minerva for years, and though I’ve moved away, I always come back for it. Well worth the drive! Best Indian food I’ve ever had, highly recommend.
It is very quiet and dark at Minerva unless you sit by the window looking out over the meadow. So, good for privacy, maybe a romantic dinner. All of the dishes we ordered were expertly prepared, flavorful, and came out hot (temperature). I like hot food! The sweet lady was delicious and nice and cold. I like cold drinks! The one thing I wish was better was the Kashmiri naan. It was not very good, only a had a few limp raisins, not discernable coconut, and was burned to the extent that I couldn't really eat it.Service was okay, they forgot a couple of small items. Overall, one of the better Indian restaurants I've tried.Oh, they have a while page of South Indian food - Dosa!!! That warrants a separate visit, so we will return :)
The food is really good and cheap. The portions are huge and so is the selection. Comfy place. Sometimes they have buffet which is pretty good as well.
Definitely best Indian food not only in Town but I think it's definitely up there with Boston. It's delicious every single time. They have great service and very family oriented restaurant. Would recommend to anyone.
We were there tonight and I never write any reviews. Food was just ok. Our waiter was horrible. His attitude really ruined the entire evening. We will not be back. The manager came over to handle our check and he was very professional.
We have been going here for over 12 years and my whole family loves it
Not to many Indian places do dosa, and any that I've found that do can't compare to Minerva. Another unique dish is the Chicken 65. Minerva does this dish amazingly well. We always dine in as the staff is always friendly and provide really good service. Definitely recommend Minerva!
Great food, great prices, great service. Despite what google says reservations are not required.
We have been coming to Minerva for years. The food is always served hot, flavorful, and at a good price. The staff is very attentive and friendly. If you haven't tried the Pul Gobi Manchurian (and you like spicy), you definitely need to try it.
I have been going here regularly since 2010ish and it is still great!
Food was good. Tried mirchi bhajji, paneer dosa and chicken fried rice. All were delicious.
They have the best indian food and they are very polite.
Amazing food and service.
Friendly and attentive staff. I overheard them helping a first-timer and they were very patient. The food was delicious! Paneer Marsala. All reasonably priced. Hope I get to visit again before I go back home.
We met with friends at this spot for dinner. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. the staff members were so friendly and we felt excellent. The food was just great. We loved this place a lot and we shall absolutely come back again. Highly recommended.
Visited this place couple of time the taste is real good in both veg and non veg. Variety of menu items in buffet. The place ambience is good. The staff is very polite and helpful. Loved this place to visit frequently. One of the fav. Restaurant in Massachusetts.
I do traveling sales. I am also vegan and Indian food is one of the foods I eat on a weekly basis. I have eaten at a lot of different Indian places. Minerva was hands-down the best Indian place I've ever been to. All the food was outstanding as well as the service. They even had a vegan section on their menu which is very rare. If you have not been to this place you have to try it.
Very delicious food. Friendly and professional staff. I have been a patron for more than ten years. I highly recommend this restaurant. The Lunch buffet is excellent.
Came here for the first time last week for their lunch buffet and the food was incredible. Great Indian buffet with a wide variety to choose from. It was nice that they had separated the vegetarian dishes from the non veg items. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this to anyone who would like to have a nice Indian meal in the South Shore.
Paneer masala dosa is a must! Great service and definitely worth your money!!
I am always looking for authentic Indian food. Fortunately I found it here. Great food, good prices, excellent service.
Good selection of food 2 types of rice , most of the food is very spicy so take time to read placards on window of buffet table . Also have Naan bread lentil and peas pancakes. The curry goat was delicious falling off the bone I paired it with the Naan bread to sop up the thick broth.Prices are excellent 12.83$ out the door for the lunch buffet.Definately worth visiting
I enjoy the lunch buffet from here every so often. The food tastes fresh and they have a simple way of presenting it, making it easy to serve yourself. The only reason that this isn't a perfect 5 stars is because the hours can be a little weird (closing in the middle of the day and then reopening 2 1/2 hours later). Also, the waitstaff is sometimes a little slow or inattentive of customer needs, we once sat at a table for 15 minutes without anybody coming up to us. Other than that, the food is great and the prices are definitely reasonable. I would recommend this spot if you would like a small, quiet place to meet with a friend or two.
Service is good, food is tasty in resonable price.
This place never fails to impress. They serve great dishes for fair prices, there no long wait even when the spot is busy.
Great Indian restaurant with very excellent service.i when there with my cousin wife for the first time and it is a place I am coming back.great lunch
Great food, super friendly staff!
The staff is always courteous and quick in response to taking our orders, maintaining hygiene and modifying our food as per our needs like less spice, more paneer pieces. Spice levels are high just as the way one from our country would like it. The option of naan instead of rice with the curry is an added benefit for heavy eaters. Some dishes they have are not found/taste the same for miles around the area like gongura and paneer khurchan.
I’ve had a lot of Indian food, and it’s easy for me to say that this place is BY FAR THE BEST. We were amazed at the quality of the food at such good prices. SO GOOD.
Good food, decent menu for lunch buffet, less costly when compared.
